Birthday Wishes for me

Hello Everyone,

I would love to thank everyone for wishing me a very happy birthday yesterday and I wanted to share some of the gorgeous handmade cards and gifts I received here with you.  I don't think it's only me that would appreciate seeing them.  I think you all would.

Firstly I've had surprises arriving in the mail for over a week prior to my birthday.  The first parcel to come was from my friend in Darwin NT, Debbie Blake.  Yes, she was early and my girls wouldn't let me open it up until my birthday.

Here is the card
She has used the Gorgeous Grunge set on her butterfly card that she made for me.  It was accompanied by this cute jar

which of course contains.....
some pretty butterflies made from our Simply pressed clay and cut out using my old broken Beautiful Wings embosslits that I wore out last year which Debbie had vowed to make use of.  Because this worked successfully, she has returned my die so I can make some more.  Thanks so much Debbie, love this.

Next I received this cute card from my friend and distance downline Elaine.  She knows how much I like butterflies.  Thanks Elaine.

And also in the mail I received this next card from another gorgeous Stampin Up Demonstrator who resides in Ipswich and just happens to know exactly how old I am, because we share the same birth year, the fabulous Suzanne Barnard.
Thanks Suzie, it's really pretty.

I have more to share plus some fabulous handmade gifts from my dear friend Vicki, but I'm going to save them for the next post.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hope you enjoy your weekend.  I'm going to have a drink to celebrate this afternoon, cause I had way too much stuff going on yesterday and couldn't relax then.  See you soon.

Sorry bit late - have been a bit busy myself lately. Actually about to leave to take eldest daughter to uni open day in Geelong. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Cheers
