Create with Connie and Mary 262
Hi Everyone,
There's a colour challenge at Create with Connie and Mary with the following selection below
Aren't these a fabulous combination. I am loving the new colours Bermuda Bay and Smoky Slate at the moment and couldn't wait to play along with this challenge.
Here is my card using Top Notes & Lattice dies and Papillon Potpourri, Six Sided Sampler and Itty Bitty Banners stamp sets.
Yes, I've made another Easel Card, this time using the Top Notes die on my Smoky Slate card. Papillon Potpourri Butterflies have been stamped with Black Stazon ink onto the Bermuda Bay card and punched with the Bitty Butterfly punch. Has anyone noticed how I give this set a workout and probably use it more than any other stamp set in my vast collection. Just love them. This card is totally not what I had planned to make. I was just going to use the Six Sided Sampler set and make a masculine card from all the Hexs but I see my demo friend Justin made a gorgeous and unique card of his own with the Hex Punch and some Paper Pumpkin stamps (not available in Australia) and loaded it just yesterday, so that made me change my mind and my card completely. I really do love this colour combination and Bermuda Bay will be a favourite of mine for a long time to come, I'm sure.
I've layered a Label cut from the Apothecary Accent Framelits out of Basic Black card up with the Hex stamp and the greeting to act as the anchor for my easel to stand in the next photo.
Thanks very much for calling in to see today's card and latest challenge entry. Feel free to leave me some comments and I love hearing what you think.
Have a great day and enjoy what's left of the weekend.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much Margaret. Butterflies are my favourite subject to stamp and Easel cards are my favourite type of cards to make, and I do love my lattice die.
