Just Add Ink 177 - Colour Challenge
Hello Everyone,
I was excited to be invited as a Guest Designer at Just Add Ink for August, and it thought it was fitting that my first card will be a post on my Birthday, yay!
Obviously, I've chosen to make a birthday card with some of my favourite things to fit with the colour challenge here.
I've made an Easel Card using the Label Framelits
The base of my card is Soft Sky and I've embossed the top front with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder after stamping the background with the Flourish stamp from the Everything Eleanor Stamp set.
I've also used cardstock of Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Calypso Coral and some Silver Glimmer paper. Flowers from the Everything Eleanor set were stamped and handcut and finished with pearls along with the Beautiful Wings Embosslits for some butterflies.
The base of my card was stamped with the Greeting from Perfectly Penned set and Papillon Potpourri Butterfly. A Vintage brad through some punched circles and bitty banner create the achor for my Easel. I combined lots of my favourite things for this card.
While I was playing with the colours I actually made a second card with a more CAS style and using Six Sided Sampler set.
This card also features Beautiful Butterflies & Beautiful Wings dies and Simply Pressed clay flower. The greeting comes from the set Sweet Essentials. Here is a closeup.
I hope you will come on over to the Just Add Ink challenge site and play along with us.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
