A lil' Christmas Sneak Peek plus I'm showing off some of the fabulous Handmade Birthday Cards I received

Hello Everyone,

Happy Tuesday, here's a bit of a warning here before you continue.  This post will be photo heavy as I have lots to share today.  Firstly, my Holiday Catalogue preorder has arrived.  You are gonna love the offerings  this Christmas season, the sale of which starts from 28th August.  I have used a new Photopolymer set called Festival of Trees which has a coordinating tree punch that I tried out today.  The patterned papers I've used are older stock.  At the bottom of the post I will also share some of the Birthday Cards I have received.

First up are my Christmas Cards.  These are the first ones I've made this year.  Yes, I know I'm a little late as I generally start making them in June and have a ton done for July as samples for my Christmas in July cardmaking class.  Due to the change in the Stampin Up catalogue schedule I decided to put it off till a little later this year so that I can focus on some of the new products.  I've kept my designs really CAS.  The Christmas greeting is from a new Hostess set called Good Greetings which will be available exclusively to Hostesses in an upcoming promotion.  There will be more details on that down the track.

The cardstock used on no. 1 here is Baked Brown Sugar, Bermuda Bay and Whisper White and the patterned paper is from the Fresh Prints stack.  The tree has been stamped with Bermuda Bay Ink.

And here is no. 2 made, using a different Tree image from the same set.

The cardstock I've used here is Crumb Cake and Whisper white.  This blue patterned paper is from the Print Poetry stack and the tree has been stamped in Midnight Muse ink.

I rounded the bottom corners of this Portrait tent fold card for a subtle difference.

Next I have a few cards to share with you that I receive from some lovely crafty friends.  The first one I received was from my dear friend Vicki which also came with an accompanying gift.  You can see her fabulous work at her blog Cards on the Table with Vicki.  She has more photos of my beautiful card.  Butterflies and purple, Mmm.

Next, I received this shoe card in the mail from Elaine who lives quite a distance away.

What a gorgeous shoe, all my friends especially my FB ones know of my shoe obsession.

The next card I'm sharing today is from the lovely Suzanne and it arrived in the mail too.

These girls have definitely covered the things I like in their cards.  Its so nice to receive personalized handmade creations, don't you think?

I do have more cards to share, but will have them for another post.  Thanks for stopping by.

  1. What lovely shoe cards you got! Even though I am a traditional Christmas kinda girl I have to say I was very taken with your blue and crumb cake Christmas card. Lovely.
