A Sparkly Joy Card


Hello Everyone,

I've been asked to make a couple of special cards that my sister will be giving to the Kindy teachers at the Day care that my niece attends.

Here's the first one I've finished which combines Bright & Beautiful stamp set & star framelits with some vintage Winter Frost patterned paper and plenty of Silver glimmer card.



The cardstock used is Island Indigo Smoky Slate and Whisper white and I've used Wonderful Wreath framelits for the word Joy which has been cut out twice, both in glimmer and Island Indigo as a shadow.



I've also used the Window Framelits under the layered star to create a frame.  The Island Indigo star was stamped in Whisper White ink and clear embossed and frames the white star.  The Smoky Slate star has been embossed with the Lucky Stars embossing folder.

I hope my sister likes this one.  Its extremely sparkly.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
