Joyful Tidings with Washi Tape
Hello All,
How has your weekend been going? Its been particularly warm here again today. We are hoping for a cool change soon, or at least some rain to cool things off.
Today I decided to replicate one of the card designs from yesterday's Paper Angels Christmas event. I really love the card and I'm not sure which of the Angels in Brisbane originally designed it, but I do love the clean lines of it, with simple white card and a touch of silver combined with the All is Calm Washi tape. I'm using some different colours and different washi.
The tree punch is used here to create a cutout window in the layered circles which I've cut with the Circle Framelits. My cardstock used is Old Olive, Whisper White and Brushed Gold. Here are the full pictures of the cards I made today.
The sentiment Joyful Tidings comes from the vintage stamp set called Christmas Messages.
I wanted to also show you the card that I case'd for the design.
This is the card I made for the Paper Angels workshop based on their instructions. I'm not sure who to give the credit to, but I'm asuming its one of the Brisbane girls from our team. I love the card. The final picture is of the two cards I made today. Its such a great design, you could punch out any shape and use any number
of greetings for different occasions.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
