Happy Birthday Genie - Window Shaped Easel Card

Hello Everyone,

It was my Sister's Big 40th Birthday yesterday and I have the card here to show you that I've made for her.

She will be receiving this one today as we are joining her at Stanthorpe this weekend for celebrations and Stanthorpe Rocks!  Looking forward to that.

Come and have a look at this Easel Card.  I've again used my fav stamp set Bright & Beautiful, for this special occasion card.  I know its a Christmas set but I have used it for a Baby Card before too.  This is the card front.



The 40 comes from the stamp set Memorable moments and is stamped with Bermuda Bay ink.  The Star from Bright & Beautiful is stamped with Coastal Cabana ink.   Here is the greeting, the anchor for the card.



I've used a vintage stamp set for the Birthday greeting here called Well Scripted which is stamped on a Label from Memorable moments cut with the Label collection framelits.   The side view of the card is below, so you can see how this easel card sits.


I've used cardstock of Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Bermuda Bay and Silver glimmer with Star and Window framelits to cut out this shaped card.  Finally here's the picture of the card from the front view.

    WOW wonderful easel card! She will love it. I know I would... Lol.... Except you would have to use different numbers lol. Have a super fun weekend and Happy Birthday to your sister.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
