Paper Craft Crew Card Challenge #167 - Colour Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to another challenge this week at the Paper Craft Crew.  This one is a little different being a colour challenge this time around.  Here are the details.

I was a little stumped at first as to what to do with these colours.  I am in full steam ahead Christmas card creating and these look like Autumn colours, Fall colours in the States, and we really don't have much of that in Sunny Queensland, Australia.  I did however decide to go with nature.


I'm using the three colours Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze and Wild Wisabi.  Here's a look at my card using the Sheltering Tree stamp set.




I've used the Woodgrain embossing folder on the Cajun Craze base and the Lots of Labels framelits to cut out my image which I've stamped on a neutral base of Very Vanilla.  Here's the full picture below.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
