Another Non-Traditional Christmas Card
Hello Everyone,
I've been inspired to play with some non-traditional colours for my Christmas cards lately, mainly because of my change in Hair Colour after I visited my Hairdresser but also because I'm playing with ideas for my upcoming Christmas Card Buffet and I send off my excess Christmas cards to Australian Troops. I don't think you can ever have too many Christmas cards on hand, and you can never start too early either.
This one is the colour combination of Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black & Whisper White, with some Two Toned Ribbon and Smoky Slate ink on the tree.
The stamp set used here for the Tree image is Christmas Lodge (retired) and the greeting is from the set Petite Pairs which has been cut with the Bitty Banner framelits.
The Basic Black background has been embossed with the Beautifully Baroque embossing folder. It gives the card quite an elegant feel.
And finally, some photos of the inspiration for these colours.
Note how I wore a matching purple top to go with my purple hair. Well Rich Razzleberry highlights to be exact over a deep Iris base colour. Looks lovely in the sun. I really stand out. Gee I hate having photos taken though. Thanks to my daughter Karree for taking these photos for me. I am hopeless with a selfie.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful weekend.
Carolyn
