Just Add Ink #181 Colour Challenge + some more backyard photos
Hi Everyone,
There is a colour challenge at Just Add Ink this week that I was keen to play along with. I love these colours.
Here's a Christmas Card I've created for the challenge. It's a Label Topper Centre Easel, a style I've made many times before, inspired by a Butterfly card that Browyn Eastley made some time ago. The image is layered cut and layered with the Label Framelits. The larger Basic Black one has been embossed with the Fancy Fan embossing folder. I've used Basic Black for my base card and the Winter Frost specialty designer series paper. This diagonally striped sheet actually has a silver stripe through it. It's gorgeous in real life.
The stamped image is from a retired set, which I only purchased last year called Christmas Lodge. I've stamped with Whisper White ink and embossed and heat set with my Frosty Glitter mix which is 50/50 Heat and Stick Powder with Dazzling Diamonds.
The anchor which helps my Easel sit up comprises of some layers, the bottom black being from Apothecary Accent framelits, the Silver Glimmer with the Curly Label punch and the Whisper White greeting on the Scallop Oval punch. Have a closer look here.
I love this colour combination so much that I've actually made a second card and will be back to enter the challenge once again.
I'll leave you with a few extra pics I've taken this week around our property. See, my car even matches the challenge colours.

Thanks so much for stopping by and please feel free to leave a little blog love while here. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
