A Wedding Card for Just Add Ink 182

Hello Everyone,

How are we today? I'm really great, but extremely busy at the moment with my Christmas Card Buffet coming up this weekend.

I was asked if I could make some Wedding Cards.  One of my regular customers who does attend classes has been away on holidays and hasn't the time or the stamps to get these done herself quickly.  I told her I probably already had a few in my stash that I could find for her to choose from and a set about making another quick one, just for a little variety.  I also thought I could enter this one in the Just Add Ink challenge to Just Add Frames.  I love my Deco Label Framelits a lot and love how they can frame an image or in this case my dsp and layered labels.

Here is what I came up with.  It's actually very similar in style to the card I created last week inspired by my daughters' Music Night, only in different colours now.

I've used the Modern Medley designer series paper on this card and the same Beautifully Baroque embossing folder, only this time I brayered inside the folder with Pool Party Ink, the same colour as the card and embossed it.  That's how you get the two toned depth to the embossing.  The greeting "Happy I Do Day" is from a retired stamp set called Word Play, and it was actually the first time I've used that particular greeting from the set.  The Double Hearts are a Brad from my stash (non SU) and the layered labels are various framelits with the exception of the Pool Party stamped one which was hand cut and stamped from a set called Everything Eleanor.  The base of my card is Basic Black.

Have a closer look at those labels

My customer loved this card, in fact she took all four that I had to show her.  I hope you like it too, and would love to hear your thoughts on this one, so please feel free to leave some comments.  I really appreciate them.

Hope you all have a fantastic week.  Thanks so much for stopping by.
