Just Add Ink #181 - Take 2
Hi Everyone,
Well I love the challenge colours over at Just Add Ink this week, and although I've already entered one card, I have actually have made a second. Here are the challenge colours. I like them a lot.
This is my second entry using Christmas Lodge retired stamp set once again. This time I've used the Tree from the set which I've stamped in Versamark and Heat Embossed after sprinkling with Silver embossing Powder.
The front of my Bermuda Bay base card has been embossed with the Lacy Brocade Textured Embossing folder and I've layered this with the Oval Accent die in Basic Black which I've stamped and heat embossed. Two toned ribbon for a bow adorns the top over a strip of Silver Glimmer above my tree and the greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments across the bottom has been cut with Bitty Banner framelits.
It's a classic Christmas Card, quite elegant I think in it's simplicity, but still has the WOW factor with all that silver embossing. Could also replicate this design quite easily for mass production if you wanted to.
And here is a closer look at the greeting.
actually have Christmas on the brain at the moment with my next card class being a Christmas Card Buffet, so I'm playing with many ideas and products at the moment. Must say I'm quite happy with how this one turned out.
Thanks for stopping by once again to see what I've made today.
