Happy Birthday, Justin

Hi Everyone,

It's safe to share this now that I know my friend Justin - JK Cards received this card, just in time for his birthday.  The Happy mail arrived on his day September 12th.  Let's not say how old he is this week.  I won't spill the beans.

This is the card that I made him.  It winged it's way across to the US.  One of the best things about cardmaking is that you can personalise your card to suit the recipients taste and the things you know they like.  I think it makes it special, when you know a bit about the person you are making a card for and can add those extra touches.

The feature of this card is Coffee.  We both love it, so thought it was fitting.  The greeting is from the stamp set Chalk Talk and the splatter is from the set Gorgeous Grunge.  This is a Joyfold style card made from Island Indigo cardstock.  Come and have a look at the inside.

On the inside and front I've added Designer Series paper from the pack Soho Subway and I've added some images from some Vintage (retired) sets as well, the To Do list from Eat Chocolate and Wings from Affection Collection.
Chocolate is another of our shared vices.

Justin tells me, he loved the card and he actually added it along with others he received to his blogpost yesterday which you can see here.

To my followers, hope you all liked having a look at this one.

Have a great day.

  1. Well I can see why he loves it - it's fantabulous Carolyn! I know had a few special coffees in his honour :-) My husband believes it's unsafe to talk to me in the morning til I've had some coffee lol! Oh no - you're not addicted to chocolate too are you?! I'm in the same boat :-/
