Blackberry Butterfly Thinking of You

Hello Everyone,

How was your day?  We had some medical appointments both yesterday and today for myself and my daughter, as we both currently have sporting injuries.  My eldest daughter who is not the sporty one in the family is now telling us how glad she is that she doesn't play sport and look at us, look what can happen.  Lol.

Onto today's card which I've made with a Butterfly and some scraps I had on my desk.  The butterfly stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink comes from the Butterfly Basics stamp set and is cut with the matching framelits.  It adorns a card consisting of a Blackberry Bliss base which has been layered with patterned papers from the Moonlight paper stack.  I chose the gray and the yellow patterns to contrast the Blackberry and I've used the Label Framelits on the retiring list to cut a mat from Basic Gray card for the Butterfly to sit.




I am on a mission to use up for of these papers and leftover bits on my desk before they are no longer available and our new catalogue goes live.    The greeting on the bottom of the card "Thinking of You" comes from the stamp set Teeny Tiny Sentiments and I've cut it out with the Bitty Banner framelits.  Here's the full view of the card.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
