Can You Case It? # 68 Card Challenge

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to our Sunday challenge for canyoucaseit.com   We have a gorgeous sketch here below to play with this week.

I wanted to use some more of my Printed Blooms patterned paper up and turned this sketch into a square card taking a little creative licence.  The actual pattern of this particular sheet is quite bold, so I softened the look with a vellum overlay.   Come and see.

The cardstock starts with a base of Blackberry Bliss followed by the patterned paper, a layer of vellum partly over the patterned paper and aligned to the right hand side and Rose Red Card used for anchoring the vellum and mimicking the shape with a mitred corner.  I've also used a Rose Red frame cut with the Label framelits and to cut both the vellum overlay and the printed vellum dotted piece which has been placed beneath my butterfly.  The Papillon Potpourri stamp set was used for my butterfly stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink and I've used both Blackberry and Rose Red card to cut the word Love from my vintage Expressions thinlits.   Here is a closer look at that butterfly, which has been doubled with a Blackberry Bliss punched shadow using the Elegant Butterfly punch.

The butterfly was finished with some Basic pearls down the centre.

We can't wait to see what you make with this week's sketch, so make sure you head over to canyoucaseit.com for more inspiration.

Have a great Sunday.
