A Wisteria Floral Birthday card


Hello Everyone,

It's Happy Tuesday today.  Well it would have been without sick children to prevent me from going for my morning walk.  Nevermind.  I had daughter one home last Friday and had to pick her up from school again early yesterday and daughter two was home sick today.  They both seem a little better this afternoon.

Today's card is another Birthday card using from floral products, Natural Composition specialty patterned paper, Fabulous Florets stamp set, Peaceful Petals stamp set and greeting from Label Something.


The cardstock used is Wisteria Wonder for the Base and Whisper White for the mat, tag and stamping.  I've rounded alternate corners of the card and layers for interest and used the new Scallop Tag topper punch to create my tag.  Here is a closeup of the tag.


The flower was stamped, fussy cut and raised on foam dots off the tag and I added a little butterfly cut with the Beautiful Wings embosslits die.

      Thanks Vicki, the scheduled trip to the hairdresser I think did the trick and made them both feel 100%. It was their Birthday present from me. I'll add photos soon.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
