Peaceful Petals Butterfly Card

Hello Everyone,

How's your Thursday been?    We've had a cooler day today for the most part with a few scattered showers, until the sun shone again and it got sticky.

I've combined some leftover pieces from my desk for today's Butterfly Card.  I have been giving my Butterfly dies a workout lately and I've used 2 different dies, both the Beautiful Butterflies die and Beautiful Wings embosslits.  I had cut some Butterflies out of patterned paper from the pack called Eastern Elegance and I decided to fold 2 of them in half to show off both sides of the patterned paper joining them down the middle and adding another on top for layering, then finishing with some Rhinestones down the centre.  Have a look below.

My butterfly sits on a Deco Label cut from Coastal Cabana card.  This has been sitting from my desk, an offcut from frames I made from my Suspended Butterfly easels.  My Whisper White background has been stamped with Peaceful Petal blossoms in Summer Starfruit and Coastal Cabana Inks and this sits on a Basic Black square card base.


I've cut the Sentiment with the Banner Framelits to finish off the card.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
