You're Lovely

Hello Everyone,

It's Sunday night here and I'm running a little late with my post.  I got a little waylaid with my post because I've been enjoying some good music with friends this afternoon.  We all need a little time out don't we.  It was a good distraction while I recorded the F1 race in Melbourne.

Todays card is a simple one for Sale-a-bration as there are only 2 more weeks to earn these products for free, so you need to get your orders in so that you don't miss out.

I'm using the SAB stamp set You're Lovely with the stamped image of the same name.


My Card base is Crumb Cake which I've combined with paper from the Sweet Sorbet pack and cardstock of Crisp Cantaloupe and Whisper White.  Inks are Pool Party and Crumb Cake.  The Decorative dots embossing folder has been used on the Crisp Cantaloupe strip and the greeting and mat were cut with the Deco Label framelits.  It's finished off with a Butterfly.

    Such pretty soft colours Carolyn. I wasn't sure what to do with this pattern dsp but you used it really well in this combination of stamps and colours. Vx

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
