Just Add Ink #207 Sketch Challenge


Hello Everyone,

This week at Just Add Ink there's a sketch that I wanted to play along with.  Here it is below.  I think it's really cool and versatile.


I'm using Watercolor Wonder designer patterned paper and Designer Gold Washi tape on by card along with a combination of stamps and tags, Scallop Tag Topper punch, Chalk Talk Framelits and Circle punch.  Here it is.


The stamps are Peaceful Petals, Petal Parade, Papillon Potpourri and Petite Pairs.  I've used cardstock of Baked Brown Sugar, Whisper White and Crisp Cantaloupe.  Inks are Whisper White, Daffodil Delight and Crisp Cantaloupe. Here is a closeup of the details.

    Soooo pretty Carolyn. I absolutely love the Watercolour Wonder dsp and your little Scallop Tag Topper tag (say that a few times fast hehe) looks gorgeous with a mat of the dsp added.

    It is indeed very pretty Carolyn. I love the very striking but very soft white stamped flowers on the second tag. Nice idea to use the washi tape on the banner too! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Music Teacher Farewell // Paper Players #173 Shaped Card Challenge

Hello Everyone, It's a sad week for my daughter and her friends who have really enjoyed what the music program offered them at the High School this year.  Their very talented teacher will be moving on to a new school and they're having a little party for their last day of the Vocal ensemble practice which was an extra activity that he undertook with the students, as well as teaching them to play all sorts of instruments in lesson times. His speciality though, Guitar!  I have decided to enter this card into the Paper Players Shaped Card Challenge this week.  While not specifically made for the challenge, I think it's a pretty cool shape and fits the criteria.  I also think more people deserve to see this card. When asked to make a card for the group to give him, with that in mind I found some inspiration on Pinterest and came up with this card. JAI176 - Just Add Blokes & CCMC 2nd Entry

Hi Everyone, I thought this weeks Just Add Ink challenge - "Just Add Blokes" was a great opportunity to get in and make a Male card .  For those of you outside Australia, "Blokes" is another name for Men. Today I'm using Mosaic Madness bundle set teamed with a greeting from Loving Thoughts stamp set.  I don't understand why, but the simplest cards seem to take me the longest.  I agonise over them, and yet I can make something much more involved quicker, when I have a clear vision in mind. I've taken the colours for this card from the colour challenge this week for Create with Connie and Mary so this card is doing double duty for both challenges. Here we are The cardstock is Berrmuda Bay, Basic Black, Whisper White and Smoky Slate per the colour challenge.  Here is a closer look at the Mosaics.  The Bermunda bay one is raised on dimentionals.
