For a Best Friend

Hello Everyone,

Today's card was a request from my daughter for one of her Besties.  It's the start of the school holidays today and her friend is moving in the holidays away from the area and to a new school for next term.  There's a Farewell party this afternoon.  She really liked one of the cards I already made
so it was revamped with a new greeting.


This greeting comes from the stamp set Label Love and is punched with the Artisan Label punch.  The colours on this card are Pool Party, Whisper White and Bermuda Bay.  Chalk Talk & Deco Label Framelits have been used to cut the layered tags and the Papillon Potpourri stamp set has been used for the butterflies.  Here is a full view of the card.




The background was embossed with the Mosaic embossing folder and a paper doily was added behind the layered tag.   It was finished with a Pool Party bow from the seam binding ribbon on top and bling added the the butterflies and the tag.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
