Tri-fold Angled Garden Fence for Mothers Day
Hello Everyone,
The card I've made today is a little more fussy and a little bit special. I decided to bring back the old Angled Trifold or Z fold design for this card. I knew that I wanted Wood Panelling for my garden fence, that's not an original idea. There are heaps of cards on Pinterest combining the Wood Panel background stamps with flowers. I've even done it myself before, but I did want to combine it with this style of card. I must warn you that this post is also very photo heavy. I think pictures explain better than words can, what I've done here and how I've decorated my card.
Once I decided what I was doing, I also found another one similar using just butterflies by Magnolia's Place here. I knew I would be using flowers combined with my butterflies and I had no intention of CASE'ing her card, but I did think you would like to view it as well. Here is a closeup of mine.
I've suspended my butterflies on accetate strips so they are fluttering above the fence. This style of card is still quite economical as you still get two cards per sheet when cut on the angle like so (pic below).
This crumb cake piece was the other half of the sheet from the card I decorated.
Here is a full view of the finished card, then I will have the front and back to show you.
This is the inside, where I have a panel for a personal message.
The cardstock used is Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Coastal Cabana Raspberry Ripple and Strawberry Slush. The Stamps are Papillon Potpourri, Wood Panel, Well Scripted (retired), Petite Petals and Wonderful Mother (retired). With Little leaves die and co-ordinating punches for the stamps.
Thanks so much for stopping by today to see my card. Have a fantastic Easter weekend.
