Paper Players #192 Washi Challenge - Butterfly Easel

Hello Everyone,

In Australia it's ANZAC day today.  A day of rememberance for the Men and Women who served this country.  At the bottom of my post today I have a picture of our memorial.  The girls attended the Dawn service with their Grandparents and we attended the Street March and 11am memorial service.  Anna was also involved in the march as a representative of the High School and the School Band who played at the Memorial Service.  It's been a busy day, up since 4am.

I'm participating in another challenge with my card today for the Paper Players.

I've chosen to use the Gingham Garden Washi Tape on a Whisper White background embossed with the Stylish Stripes embossing folder to make an Easel Card with my Beautiful Butterflies die.  Here is a closer look at my layered and embossed butterfly.

This is my Easel card with the embossed and washi tape background on the front and a Mother's Day greeting to support my Easel design as the anchor with Layered Labels.

The cardstock used is Melon Mambo, Whisper white and Island Indigo.  The top yellow butterfly in the layers is punched with the Elegant Butterfly punch from Watercolor wonder designer paper and a couple of tiny butterflies are also on the card but with the Beautiful Wings embosslits from gold foil.

I think this is a bright happy card.  I don't use all those colours in combination very often.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this one.  Have a wonderful day.
