An Easter Card

Hello Everyone,

How's your Saturday going?  We are experiencing afternoon/evening storms here.  It has been pretty hot again, plus in sunny Queensland, up north they are dealing with Cyclone Ita, which has crossed the coast and has been downgraded but is bringing loads of rain and flash flooding to the area.  We may see the effects of that down here come Monday as it slowly moves south.

Onto my card for today.  I hadn't as yet made anything for Easter, so decided today would be the day, otherwise, next week is just too late.  Easter is only a weekend away.  Here is what I've made using Life in the Forest stamp set.


The cardstock used is Island Indigo, Crisp Cantaloupe, Smoky Slate and Whisper White.  The patterned paper comes from the Watercolor Wonder paper pack.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
