The Little Red Dress Card

Hello Everyone,

How are you on this Happy Tuesday?  It was a beautiful day today and I got the children back to school and back into routine with no incidences and was able to go for a walk again this morning with a friend.  That's always a good morning.  Particularly so as I didn't sleep too well.  Gee I haven't had a nightmare like that one in a long time, so as a result, I'm a bit tired, but I still got my card made.

Today I chose to use the Dress Up framelits with the Modern Medley patterned paper and a greeting from the Layered labels stamp set. 


The cardstock used is Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Cherry Cobbler.  The Dress was partially embossed with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder and I added a little cardstock flower punched with the Boho Blossoms punch.  Have a closer look at the detail here.




I would like a red dress for myself actually, and the matching shoes...Lol.  That's another story.  Here is the full view of the card.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Music Teacher Farewell // Paper Players #173 Shaped Card Challenge

Hello Everyone, It's a sad week for my daughter and her friends who have really enjoyed what the music program offered them at the High School this year.  Their very talented teacher will be moving on to a new school and they're having a little party for their last day of the Vocal ensemble practice which was an extra activity that he undertook with the students, as well as teaching them to play all sorts of instruments in lesson times. His speciality though, Guitar!  I have decided to enter this card into the Paper Players Shaped Card Challenge this week.  While not specifically made for the challenge, I think it's a pretty cool shape and fits the criteria.  I also think more people deserve to see this card. JAI176 - Just Add Blokes & CCMC 2nd Entry

Hi Everyone, I thought this weeks Just Add Ink challenge - "Just Add Blokes" was a great opportunity to get in and make a Male card .  For those of you outside Australia, "Blokes" is another name for Men. Today I'm using Mosaic Madness bundle set teamed with a greeting from Loving Thoughts stamp set.  I don't understand why, but the simplest cards seem to take me the longest.  I agonise over them, and yet I can make something much more involved quicker, when I have a clear vision in mind. I've taken the colours for this card from the colour challenge this week for Create with Connie and Mary so this card is doing double duty for both challenges. Here we are The cardstock is Berrmuda Bay, Basic Black, Whisper White and Smoky Slate per the colour challenge.  Here is a closer look at the Mosaics.  The Bermunda bay one is raised on dimentionals.
