A special Star Easel Card for Justin & Highlights of the Noosa Country show.
Hello Everyone,
I firstly want to say Happy Birthday to my friend Justin Krieger of JK Cards. It's his birthday today, I made him a card. Not just any card. I had to make it a little different, a little special when its for a close friend who is also an amazing paper crafter. I know he likes stars, and uses them often on his cards. He also likes using the Moustache die, and he has one himself. Finally, his favourite colour out of the new In Colours is Lost Lagoon, so with knowledge of those 3 things, I set about creating an Easel card for him. This post is mainly about his card, but I also have a few personal pics of our day today as well.
This is a side on view to show you how the card sits.
Cardstock is Early Espresso, Lost Lagoon, Whisper White and Silver Glimmer.
It is safe to show you this card now, because I know Justin has received it. I thought this would appeal to him, knowing of his love of Stars and this Moustache die. The greeting on this card is from the Label Love stamp set, punched with the Artisan label punch and sitting on another die from the Apothecary Accent set.
I hope Justin has a fantastic day. We did too. Its our annual Noosa Country Show day today and I took a few pics of the show and the girls enjoying it below. It was a lovely warm day. This particular pic was taken near the Snake tent. I did not watch that show.
The girls on the Bumper cars and above I took a photo of the girls watching the Snake show, I wasn't getting any closer. Anna took the pic of the Taipan, one of Australia's deadly snakes. One bite contains enough venum to kill an elephant.

Here is their Dad carrying around this cat he bought. He actually tried to photobomb most of my pics this morning until I gave up. This was taken near the most scary ride the girls went on today called the Shockwave, which does a full 360 degrees in the air and they hang upside down at one point 65 feet in the air.
I hope your weekend is fun and you have a fantastic day too. Just awesome weather here.
Ha...lol! Bet he loved it...:0) I love my "Mustache" die. xx
ReplyDeleteHe did, thank you Nikki.
