Happy Father's Day

Hello Everyone,

How's your Thursday?

We had a slow start this morning as the girls had appointments, so with the morning off school and their Dad heading off to work later, we decided to celebrate Father's Day early with him.  I still have my eldest daughter home sick.  That's been all week, and we are waiting on results of blood tests.  There was also a major traffic accident on the bridge in town which splits our town in two sides and is the only way across which saw us stuff for a couple of hours before we could get home.  When we learned that the accident involved a fatality that wasn't fun, because we actually drove past some elderly people trapped in their car.  They had to wave us through to get all the emergency service vehicles to them.   All in all, a busy day.  On to the details of the card.

I've used the Snapshot single stamp on some Smoky Slate card and coloured with Blendabilities for the image I've mounted on a tag with dimentionals on this card the girls gave him.  Come have a look.

The cardstock used is Midnight Muse for the base with Very Vanilla for the Tag and Smoky Slate.  I've used Scallp Tag Topper punch to create the tag sponged with a little Midnight Muse ink and added patterned paper on the background from the retired Print Poetry stack.  I thought this sheet worked well for a masculine card and of course, its  always good to use up some retired products.  The sentiment comes from the Teeny Tiny sentiments stamp set.

I hope you enjoy this quicky for a Father's Day card.  Have a great day.
