Happy Birthday

Hello Everyone,

Ah, the weekend is here.  It's another Happy Saturday.  As was February, March is also Birthday month around here.  I have a friend having a Birthday today, so I whipped up a quick Easel Card using the stamp set Rev up the Fun.  It's a great one for Masculine Birthdays.   Here is the card.



I've used the car image from the stamp set, stamped in Rich Razzleberry onto some Whisper White cut with the Deco Label Framelits and mat onto the Razzleberry colour all on a base of Crumb Cake Card.  The next picture shows the card sitting in the Easel position.  I've also used the stamp set Just Saying with the matching Speech Bubble framelits and the Gorgeous grunge to create a road effect under the car.


Here is the side angle of the Easel Card.


And a closer look at the base.  The mat greeting becomes the anchor for the card.



Did you notice, I also painted my nails to match.  Love the colour.

    Well now I have seen everything! Nails to match your card!!! haha. You just blew away the competition with that! I love that greeting by the way and the way you have popped it on there. Vx

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
