Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #91

Hello Everyone,

It's Wednesday once again which means its time for a sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here is the sketch below that we are playing with.

Here is my card for the Design Team.


I've used the sentiment from the stamp set called Feel Goods, combined with Gorgeous Grunge and Papillon Potpourri butterflies.  I've used the Resist technique stamping with versamark on the white card and heat setting with white embossing powder then sponging over some Pool Party ink.  I used the Oval Collection framelits to create an oval frame.


My cardstock used is Pool Party, Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White and some Smoky slate for the tiny butterflies (Beautiful Wings Embosslits) and punched shadows for my Papillon Potpourri butterflies.

I love how this turned out combining these pretty pastels.   Hope you will join us soon at the Paper Craft Crew challenge.  Can't wait to see your creation for this cool sketch.

    Such a beautiful card Carolyn! I love all the soft coloured splodges and the pops of colour of the frame and butterflies :-)

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
