Happy Tuesday

Hello everyone,

How is your Tuesday.  I always seem to be happy on a Tuesday.  Must be the great company I keep. LOL!

Here's todays card which could be used for Valentine's Day, or an Anniversary or Wedding card.  I've made it with some More Amore Specialty designer paper and the Expressions Thinlits word "Love".

The Cardstock is Raspberry Ripple and Very Vanilla with the Pink Heart coming directly from the patterned paper pack.  I've used a couple of embossing folders for texture, namely Fancy Fan and Delicate Designs and I've used the matching Scalloped Border framelit to cut the border edge and Deco Labe framelits on the front to frame my heart which is raised on dimentionals.

While I'm  thinking about Love, I need to show you what my Daughter Anna brought home from school for me.  This was her craft project she made.


This wreath is so pretty, and I do love it.  Made with chopped up coloured garbage bags and some tinsel.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
