Create with Connie and Mary challenge 261

Hello Everyone,

This week there is a sketch challenge at Create with Connie and Mary

CCMC261

I've decided to use the Open sea stamp set as I don't have enough masculine cards on hand at the moment.

The base of my card is Naturals White with Midnight Muse and Smokey Slate.  I stamped and cut out an extra ship from the set and raised it on dimentionals to create a 3D effect over the base and I've used some of the Smokey Slate chevron ribbon down the border of my card.  The anchors, world and greeting were all stamped with Smokey Slate ink.

You might also notice the circular piercing detail on the background too.

Thanks so much for stopping by to see a masculine card with time.  Have a great day.

    1. Thank you so much, Lisa. I needed to make some masculine cards. After retirement this is about the only suitable set I have left. That's an excuse to buy something new, huh?

  3. Awesome card, didn't even pick that it was ribbon down the side, assumed it was DSP! The colours are so good on this card, thank you for another great idea on how to use the ribbon and the Open Sea stamp set.

  4. Great masculine card. Love the color scheme. I like the extra touch your paper piercing adds to the card. I love how you hid the ribbon on the side...it looks like designer paper tucked back there. Thanks for playing the Create with Connie & Mary challenge this week!
